I always thought the medical was the last thing done when everything else was agreed between clubs and the player. Pass the medical being the final stage before signing the contract. Why would you have a medical for a transfer but then play a friendly shortly after? Doesn’t make sense.

 

Upon a re read the tweet is clearly sarcasm - something that doesn’t come across clearly in tweets

Damn frustrating individual. If he didn't lunge into tackles and learned to jockey; if he sorted his attitude; could be a top defender. Just seems to care more about his clothes than football though.
