    Shame that there's next-to-no chance of that being our XI for the whole season - because if it was, I suspect we'd walk the league (subject to Mara proving that he can score at a decent rate at Championship level).

    In my experience of working on club websites, it'll just be because this is a friendly. The lineups and stats sections of the sites are populated by automated data feeds which are provided by Opta (or similar) - and most of those won't bother populating and providing data for friendly matches.

    If it doesn't work when the league season starts then you can drag me over the coals. <laugh>

    Reading are charging £5 to watch each friendly this season on their website, so Saints weren't allowed to provide a free stream as they did with the Goztepe and Benfica games. So yes, that's right.
