    Cox has played to back to back games with not a great deal of pre-season work prior to joining City. It makes sense to give him a rest for today and give Fleming an opportunity to impress in front of any scouts who will surely be attending.

    If we don't sign him then other Championship teams will be monitoring the situation and will be ready to pounce. His performances for us in the friendlies would have alerted more potential suitors.
