Don’t know if you’ve seen it yet @tomw24 but Quarterback on Netflix is a good watch.

Big day in the NFL, as Washington fans finally get rid of the reprehensible Dan Snyder.

And they've been bought by someone who has experience of running sports teams and hails from near to DC.

Snyder was one of the most awful owners in North American professional sports (not an easy bar to clear), so even as someone who doesn't care about the NFL, it's good to see him out.

I know of Harris through his involvement with the Sixers in the NBA, and he seems about as decent as any multibillionaire private equity ghoul, which is to say I have no reason to believe that he hunts children for sport.

So Vikings 1st round pick Jordan Addison was driving 140mph in a 55mph zone. With that and his let's get paid comment when he was drafted, he seems like a totally mature, sensible player who has a great attitude :emoticon-0138-think

Yeah not the best start. I did find the let’s get paid as soon as he got drafted weird, but apparently he’s been saying it all through college as well as some kind of catchphrase.

Apparently he also hung up on the Vikings twice when they were drafting him so yeah not the best start.

Wow. I don't generally have a most disliked Vikings player, either I like certain players or I don't have an opinion on them... But I think he might be my most disliked player already.

The correct answer to this will always be Kirk Cousins.

Addison just seems like a 21 year old who has come from not a lot and been given millions over night, maybe he’ll mature or maybe he’ll go the way of many before him and he out of the league in a couple of years

How can Kirk Cousins be your most disliked player? Not think he's the best quarterback or worth the money, fair enough but for him to be your most disliked player? Surely that's reserved for gf beaters, child beaters, drunk drivers, sexual assaulters, etc...?

I only care about what they do on the field, couldn’t care less about off the field stuff when it comes to forming an opinion on their ability as a player.

For me Cousins was the main reason why the Vikings didn’t win anything when they were set up to. Paid him too much which meant letting other players go and wasted some very good players peaks winning **** all.

For what it's worth, I have a feeling Red Bull won't win in Hungary this weekend.

I hope you're not including Xavier Rhodes in that category...

But we clearly have very different views. The off field stuff to me is important to me. Not that I care about who is dating who or what cars someone has, but in that I don't support players who are twats off the field, however good they are. That's why I'm not a big fan of Adrian Peterson.

To me it's not just all about winning at all costs regardless of everything else. Hell that attitude is what Newcastle fans have been criticized for.

Which category? He was one of the best corners for a couple of years, was before Cousins arrived though.

Yeah we aren’t going to agree

The category of players who we ditched because we couldn't afford them due to Cousins. We ditched him because his play dropped like a lead balloon. No one thought it was bad decision at the time, though since then I've seen people try to rewrite history by listing him as an example of one of the great players we had to get rid of because we couldn't afford him due to Kirk

But yes, regarding Kirk we'll agree to disagree

Also great to see McLaren finding pace. I'm a fan of both Norris and Pastry, so it's good to see them have a car that they don't need to push with their feet.
