Love the fact Danny Ricc is on your possible winners to choose from haha Whilst an upgraded Red Bull might win this by miles, I’ve given Wiley old Fernando the nod as this is a circuit that should suit the characteristics of that Aston Martin. I anticipate they will jump McLaren this weekend. Ferrari could surprise as well and this similarly could suit them better, whilst Mercedes have had a front wing upgrade for exactly these type of low to medium speed corners. If Red Bull win easily here, I think they win every race of the season.
Quali might be interesting as they all have to use same tyres in each session. The problem is that surely that leaves everyone with same tyres for the race - well al those who do Q3?
Tyres: This weekend each car will only have 11 sets of dry tyres as opposed to the normal 13. Then receive: three sets of the white-marked hard tyres - 1 extra four sets of the yellow-marked mediums -1 extra four sets of the red-marked softs - 4 less It is a change from what the drivers have become accustomed to, as usually they would be given: two sets of hard tyres three sets of mediums eight sets of softs.
Danny Ricc doing well so far beating Yuki by a couple of tenths. Who would have thought Lewis would end up top on FP3?
If I were the rest of the field I would've put my cars out as Max was coming around to start his flying lap.
Bad strat putting him in traffic - but I'm not sure if he messed up his 'banker' lap or it was track limits, so really team and George making mistakes.
