EH will probably have eyes on turning him into the worlds best right winger before long, but for now, he can help out across the back 4.
But can he play left back? Surely we're not gonna really on an put of position Dan Burn again with Target as back up?
Burn, Targett, Lewis and Dummett? First plays out of place, second can't get in the team, third is dogshit and fourth is a squad player who never plays.
Or how about... Emi! Tu madre está al teléfono. Ella dijo que tu madre es un hámster y tu padre huele a bayas de saúco. Emi! Emi! EMI!
Targett was injured and rightfully never got his place back due to results. Don’t **** with a winning team etc. but the lads never let us down whilst playing,
Think he's decent tbh burns done well but left back needs improvement. It would cost though and like you say there's more cover there than rb... I think manq will go too.
Spot on, he's done whats needed when called upon and done it well, last season he was unfortunate to be out the team but you can't change the best defence in the league. I do think he lacks the raw pace of a attacking minded LB though and while he had ASM in front and needed to be a bit more reserves it will be interesting to see if he can get forward a bit more next season and overlap Barnes/Gordon on the wing.
No because we've got livramento coming in... Burn can play cb and left back... Newcastle seem to have had versatility as a key ingredient in their recruitment policy.
Young LB /left wing back. Looked fairly decent towards end of last season, but mostly as a wing back (with 3 CBs) than as a full back.
