Some new places in Canterbury now, point blank refuse to accept cash, you will not get served, they have no cash till. So I'd also have a guess they have no way of banking it either. Edit: I should have added, there are no banks left to do banking!
I can't wait until all the terminals go down, I'll walk in the shops with my wad of cash, looking all smug...then the assistant says, we still can't take cash.
Must differ from branch to branch, I have a nephew and niece that worked for them, the niece will leave in September when she starts uni, they both enjoyed working there, so much so my lad as just got a job there, he's 15, school leaver not 16 until end of August but they take on 15yr old school leavers. Paying him £8.25 an hour he'll be doing 3 x 6 hour shifts pw, happy as pig in ****. Did 45 min session yesterday, filled in a 30 minute questionnaire, they've paid him 2.5 hrs for it. Nephew says the only downside is the arsehole customers
Oh yeah, it's a franchise so each individual manager is essentially a small business owner. So it's those guys that set the culture in the branch, but I just know from when I worked there that the culture was absolutely atrocious from the top and that culture bled down to the managers and then the workers. Never worked at McDonalds or anything in Norway, but fun fact, I have it from a reliable source they pay absolutely fantastic over here compared to the UK.
A company as big as it is will vary obviously. He's as happy as heck with his £8.25 per hour, most of his mates are on £5.28 per hour at other jobs
I always remember ALDI apparently paid great wages too, everyone was buzzing if they got into ALDI as a kid but another good thing about Maccie Ds is that you are surrounded by other teens and it's a right ****ing laugh
Those were the best days for being single...for me being University aged (and as a bonus fresh off-the-boat foreign) working in retail. Didn't even have to try to get a girl, they literally come right to you faster than you can go through them. I went three years without having to ask anyone out because they would push their little bits of paper with name and number on it to me. Was I in for a shock when I joined the real world with a real job, and actually had to work to get a date... and some of them had the gall to say no!
because don’t you know Western women are not sex objects they are free to express themselves what I mean is we are free to express them for ourselves because no sorry I got it wrong Western women are liberated I mean used like sluts for the eyes but told that it’s freedom of expression Its a 1st world culture thing

How isn’t this making for public debate on tv channels considering it involves every fking citizen who lost a relative in the 2nd world war so that we live in freedom rather than an authoritarian state that controlled our every fking move Nazi Britain fk off https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-66256081

I've never personally owned any Apple product, never particurlarly liked them and never trusted them, not just from a data perspective, but after that episode of forcing customers to buy a new product by making their older models obsolete. Although I've still got my honour phone and that's chinese. China, china, china as Trump would say, but have to be fair to the Chinese it's outlasted most the previous shhite I've had, which included Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel or whatever they were called. In fact for the cheap price I paid for it, it's been virtually hassle free, apart from having to turn off talk assist, and the battery is still going strong in it!
told you those chinese phones. So cheap and functional with such long lasting battery life. It's an absolute no brainer if you don't need a top top quality camera or want to play games on it
