Tapsoba Watch Romano claimed on his podcast we're having talks with Leverkusen over a fee this week Gee, I hope this stops r/coys acting like pissbabies for five minutes...
Florian Plettenberg (yes, that weasley little turd again) claims Conor Gallagher is in talks for a £25m move to West Scam Yes, that would be the same Conor Gallagher we've been quoted a fee closer to £50m for in the last couple of weeks...
Talk that we’re gonna sign Ashley Phillips and he’ll join up with the squad asap. Talented young CB at Blackburn.
Philips was linked last summer, with Paratici reportedly given the go-ahead to sign him, but nothing happened (also worth noting The Moirror were on the frontline for that rumour too) That being said, with Blackburn's owners slashing wages and sanctioning sales, this looks like an easy grab - and also nudges Sanchez and Rodon towards the exit that little bit quicker, not least as Philips does look like a good understudy for Romero
Le10 Sport claim Lille, Rennes and Marseille are interested in taking Pape Matar Sarr on loan Don't suppose they fancy giving Alfie Devine regular football instead...?
If we end up selling Hojbjerg or any of the other midfielders and getting Alex Scott then we should send Devine the other way to Bristol for a season. Not sure it’s looking likely though, some other clubs are looking at him apparently.
Matteo Moretto claims that Strasbourg are in negotiations for Davinson Sanchez Given Strasbourg are part of Todd Bollo's definitely not dodgy football portfolio, I assume we'll be offered something like £45m...?
A work colleague has just told me that he has a bet with his kebab shop that Sanchez is going to be part ex plus cash for Victor Nelsson , the owner prides himself as a Galatasaray ITK , If the owners wrong my mate gets 25% discount on a large chicken shish until Christmas , if it does go through he has to wash the owners X5 BMW with a Spurs shirt What's the word HBIC ?
While there is talk of a €15m + Sanchez offer for Nelsson, the sources reporting this is a one-two of not believing a word of it: the first are Turkish sources, and the second is Harry ****espout TBH it looks like Nelsson is the backup backup option in case Tapsoba, van de Ven and Adarabioyo all somehow fall through
There's not much happening anywhere in the Premier league is there. I read Today that Tottenham are taking an interest in Lascelles.
Those Ange x Bissouma comments - *chef’s kiss*. Really think the shackles are being released this coming season and we’re gonna see a proper baller in that midfield. Excited.
It's all gone very quiet hasn't it? I get the feeling we're back in sell-to-buy mode, and will need to wait for someone stupid enough to pick up our dross before further signings. Paying the price for years of atrocious transfer strategy.
Sami Mokbel says there’s a willingness on our part to sell Hojbjerg and that there’s been positive chats with Atleti over a fee. Douglas Luiz, Gallagher and Gabri Veiga would be potential replacements. Wonder how much we could get for Hojbjerg? In such a mad market where average players are going for £20m-£30m+ and City youngsters with zero experience keep going for £10m-£15m, feels like we could get a solid £40m for an established, Prem proven, good player in Hojbjerg. I’d take £30m though, especially from abroad, that doubles our investment on a player that won’t fit our new style.
One thing I have seen suggested is our summer appears to have gone like this We get several deals sorted pretty quickly > Bayern start chirping about Harry Kane daily > Activity grinds to a halt The obvious inference is that clubs assumed we'll be flush with cash when Bayern get their wicked way so mentally add £10m+ to their asking price overnight
Not really surprising news but Gary Jacob says Kane won’t sign a new deal and is keen on the Bayern move.
