the question is who do you want a young player to look up to and who do you want to give said young player a clip round the ear to pull his socks up?

Robbo seems quite the jokes but we only see what the club lets out. Salah in day to day is massively dedicated and does everything to be right for games.

In a game i'd rather a kid look at robbo giving everything than salah who can be selfish (and he can be, be it not tracking or shooting at times the long a game goes)

the reason (whether jimmy will ever admit it or not) that Henderson and milner were in thier positions was every day they put the same level in and every game the gave the same level)

some players just can't do that.

    Under rafa IMO:
Carragher was the mouth (but i don't think he was any use off the park)
Gerrard was the inspriation on the pitch
Kuyt and lucas were indeed the consistency day in day out.

you can judge a manager by the character of the signings.

    Rafa and klopp in particular.

rodgers aslo. in a very negative way.

    Houllier was very mixed!

    exaclty.

the man signed a few absolute nonsense buys. cisse (nut job) diouf, diao, cheyrou, pongnolle, le tallec. All really bad attitudes and yet also bought the likes of hamman and macallister etc.

When you look back at a lot of his guys in later life they all have a bit of a chip on the shoulder as well.

rafa really went for a different type of man.

klopps signings in general are all based on character and desire to work.

Didn't he sign Hyypia, Henchoz and Babbel and play Carra RB? That wasn't too shabby tbf (apart from the Carra at RB but)

Salah is one of the best professionals to play the game - he trains exceptionally well, he keeps himself in fantastic shape, by all accounts he’s first in and last out in training,
And when the chips are down, he takes responsibility.

If you’re a kid, you should be aspiring to be like Mo.

yes. he's ideal for every day. look at mo, copy what he is doing.

but on the park? we need someone in the refs ear. someone who can play that game as well.

if trent is England's 6 say. you never know.... and he can get in their ears, well it can be worth 6 points a season to us just cos of how scummy English refs are in pandering to England players.

kane gets away with absolute murder
