Jacks Orchard has been given a chance to give a decent account in the (20:25) at Worcester this evening, a Class-5 Handicap Hurdle over 2m4f, on the forecast good ground. Interesting race with Dave Killehana having his first jumps runner in partnership with Mcpherson. Similar to the McPherson partnership with Fergal, it’ll all be one way! Dave is a really good chap who has knowledge from flat and jumps racing, and I hope he has a long and successful training career. It’s interesting that Nick Slatter takes the ride, he normally only rides for his parents yet this is in the McPherson silks.
Jacks Orchard non-runner, unfortunately. Ranco won a hard-fought battle, but the jockey nearly botched it by mistaking the finishing line, but got the horse going again. Nassau's Dirk Gently ran very well to finish third at 11/1.
