Regrettably there is still plenty of time left, and deals to be done at the end of the window. Personally I'd like him to stay.
KWP would get into most 12th - 7th PL sides , surprised someone like Villa or Fulham have not already picked him up.
I will be right browned off if Tino leaves after all the effort and time the club have invested after such a serious injury, I understand that loyalty in football is rare but there has to be some gratitude from the player and agent.
Perhaps it will become the super league by stealth. Don’t have domestic player quotas and use all that sportswashing money to take all the best players from all the best leagues and clubs. And then our national leagues will be priced out and can maybe balance out Could happen - I’d say it has a better chance than attempts in the US and China . Will take some time and is still unlikely
It’s not what they’ve done this summer but what they did last year that has created the mess. Especially January. The squad bloated with players nobody particularly wants.
yeah, I was responding to the athletic article but didnt quote the post. A good summary of the bad and the good in there. Maybe the bloat will be easier to shift than expected. We are certainly selling to new markets with diallo and Lyanco.
I'm quire surprised we have been able to Shift Diallo, Diallo and Orsic If I'm honest. Especially first.
His Instagram handle is pretty fitting. Always seemed like a decent guy, just a bit lightweight for the role he was deployed in, and didn't have the requisite attributes to play further forward.
Transfer window is going pretty well so far. I obviously don’t know who Martin would like to keep hold of, but out of the players who are fully fit and haven’t featured in pre season, only Totem Paul hasn’t sold. I was expecting Lyanco and Diallo to be terrible loans done at the end of august where we’re still paying half their wages
I think it is a vanity project. Not sure that there is an audience in Saudi to establish a football league that rivals the best in Europe. There is obviously an interest for the game in the Middle East (as ownership of English clubs and the French TV set up for football demonstrates ) but I would be interested to see what the demographic would be amongst the supporters. I would envisage these players performing in half empty stadia.
Disappointed about this if true. We're so lacking some decent leadership in the side. I really think he'd do an excellent job galvanising our young players.
