We took the kids to Rhodes during school term in June for a week. We paid 2.1k - 5* All Inclusive. If we want to go in the last week of August, it would be 6.5k. It definitely, DEFINITELY is not worth that. Some of the prices are ridiculous. I wanted to book Cullinan in Belek, looks great, but not for 8.5k for a week
Special rates for those that have him on 'ignore'? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
In a so called 'last minute deal', I can stay in the same room I had two weeks ago, for a mere £7.5k for the week.
Go to anywhere in the Med and spend the entire holiday in the hotel foyer playing cards. That's what some are doing.
I'm surprised that they have availability at all. I was in Crete the first two weeks of July and it was heaving. Beautiful place, but every 'famous' beach and sight was packed with tourists across the income groups and all the usual nationalities, plus the Chinese at the Venetian historical sights, out in force. Clearly, rate increases and inflation arent affecting everyone.
Just taken a quick look at Sani. £9,524 for a week commencing 15th August (first availability showing) Down to £2,000+ for a week during September. Down to £1,084 for a week commencing 10th October. That is absolutely mental!
Off to Colombia this afternoon. I'll miss the first 2 league games of the season but I'm hoping to get back and see points against our name in the table, 3+ would be good, 2 not too shabby for a start. UTT!
Currently in Prague it's £1.64 a pint of lager and 89p for a glass of white wine. We just paid £31 for 5 drinks and meal for two.
