I'm quite happy for Brighton to keep on rejecting these (perfectly acceptable) offers, because every rejection makes £50m for Lavia look a more attractive alternative. I don't want to sell him, but I've completely accepted it will happen. And hence my only focus is to get a decent price. Not a rubbish £30m.
Jose is a machine. Where everyone else is going out to pasture in Saudi in their early-30s, he's going to a (potential) Champions League club at 39. Legend.
You've never felt any sort of fondness or attachment to a player after they've left the club? You cold-hearted bitch.

what bloody mess they’ve made. Kind of over a barrel at the moment and a fire sale might be imminent. Need to recruit, can’t recruit till they sell. Clubs will be lowballing and stalling as the longer the sales take the more desperate we will become. Going to be some very unhappy players next season who aren’t playing and got no chance of getting in the squad or being sold.
What else do you want them to do? I get we bought some crap and bloated the squad, but this summer we haven’t done anything wrong in my mind.
I think those we fail to shift will just end up going on loan. We have seen it a fair few times with players who don't want to give up their inflated contract at Saints. Think of Hoedt, Classie and sadly Gaston Ramirez.
