I'm going to try and cover the last 3 posts so I don't have to quote them all. I can imagine that Everton would be a no go for Gnonto. He's had the likes of City and Arsenal sniffing around him for a while whilst 3 or Italys big clubs are monitoring the situation. Let's face it he knows he's one of the best young talents in Europe right now and he's probably very aware he'll stagnate at Everton. I've said it before but Wober made a comment back in June about it being nice to be away from the club. I've had the feeling that he wants out but won't publicly admit it. He came for Marsch and now Jesse has gone he wants out like Aaronsson. Drameh knows he can do better than. Newcastle and Dortmund have been keeping tabs on him for 18 months. He probably that if he leaves for Burnley or Luton and gets regular games then he's going to Germany where his game will be advanced in the Dorrmund system. I get the feeling that Creswell has had his head turned so to speak.. Rangers tried a cheeky bid for him a couple of weeks ago and was flatly turned down. I reckon he's wanting 1st team football and it's been made public we've been going after CBs as the Phillips rumours have been going on for a while. I don't think Creswell will be in the starting defence line. On to Byram. The Farke interview when he was announced made me think that the club is on a multi season rebuild style like they have in the NBA. The players are either **** or they're past in. If I was within the 49ers camp and saw the likes of Bamford playing week in week out while Orta spunked money on the likes.of Rutter knowing I'm buying the club in summer then I would start planning ahead. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the likes of Cooper, Dallas and Ayling leave in January.
Wolves nothing wrong with your logic but think about a few things. Wober is rumoured to be our new captain as he has a good relationship with FARKE. Cresswell always wanted to be a Leeds player and both these players may believe in the new project and when new contracts are offered at a club like Leeds a player will ignore Everton.
Our players are under contract and even if a player wants to leave they can’t unless we will it. Gnonto is under contract to 2027 so will need to be a big offer to make it worth it. The same with Sinisterra Wober Cresswell
Another HUGE problem is we can only send two more players out on loan. If Cresswell is not favoured for a starting slot then he would stagnate in the reserves. If we don’t get anyone else activating loan releases then we’ve only got space to pick 2 players to loan out leaving several players who will have zero game time. Shackleton, Poveda, Hjelde, Gelhardt, Costa, Joseph, Bate, Perkins, Cresswell, which two get loaned out and who is stuck here
I thought the 7 loans only applied to non homegrown players? How many loan outs do citeh, chelsea etc have?
If there is another egg shortage in this country over the coming months I am single handedly blaming this whole thread. 42 pages of fun to go through in the cold winter months right here
https://www.fifa.com/about-fifa/organisation/media-releases/fifa-to-introduce-new-loan-regulations As per the FIFA website The requirement of a written agreement defining the terms of the loan, in particular its duration and financial conditions A minimum loan duration, being the interval between two registration periods, and a maximum loan duration, being one year A prohibition on sub-loaning a professional player who is already on loan to a third club A limitation on the number of loans per season between the same clubs: at any given time during a season, a club may only have a maximum of three professionals loaned out to a single club and a maximum of three professionals loaned in from a single club A limitation on a club’s total number of loans per season. To ensure that this is implemented smoothly, there will be a transitional period as follows: - From 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023, a club may have a maximum of eight professionals loaned out and eight loaned in at any given time during a season. - From 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, the same configuration applies but with a maximum of seven professionals. - Finally, from 1 July 2024, the same configuration will apply but limited to a maximum of six professionals. * Players aged 21 and younger and club-trained players will be exempt from these limitations. (A ‘Club Trained Player’ is a player who was on the Club’s register for any 3 full Seasons before the end of the Season in which he ceases to be eligible by age to play at Under 21 level.) At domestic level, FIFA’s member associations will be granted a period of three years to implement rules for a loan system that is in line with the principles established at international level. So in theory we can still send Meslier, Struijk, Cresswell, Drameh, Bate, Summerville, Gnonto and even Rutter out on loan if the club wish to, (as well as many others) without falling foul of the above rules.
Costa is the only player in your list that the FIFA loan rules would apply to, as all of the others are either aged 21 or under or have been registered with the club for 3 years before they became inelligible to play as an U21 player
I fully agree bud. However, I'd just like to remind everyone that reading this thread is not mandatory.
I blame Gessa personally. He posts the odd snippet of info from the inside track rather than trying to be the first to repeat the click bait sites and it maintains your interest. Bit like a slot machine paying out once in a while I guess
With all the teeth gnashing that goes on around these parts I'd be suprised if most have got any left to be honest
