Your Favourite Spurs moments in the EPL?

  1. Spurs 4 - 1 Man Utd, 1996. (Our team sheet was comical!)

  2. Jurgen's 4 goal blitz V's Wimbeldon (6-2) to secure our survival, 1998.

  3. Allan Nielsen diving header, Worthington Cup Final V's Leicester (dire game though!), 1999.

  4. The King scores in 10 seconds V's Bradford, 2001.

  5. Spurs 5 - 1 Chelsea, WC Semi-Final, 2001.

  6. Eboue and Gilberto run into eachother and Keane nips in to score V's Le Scum, 2006.

  7. Kab's last-minute equaliser to salvage our 125th birthday party V's Villa, 2007.

  8. THAT 4-4 draw at Le Library. Wenger's face at the final whistle, 2008.

  9. Spurs 5 - 1 Le Scum, League Cup Semis, 2008 (see above regarding AW)

  10. Spurs 9 - 1 Wigan, 2009 (You'll never see so many identical goals!)

  11. Crouchy 1 - 0 Merc City, 2010. Beanpole's finest moment.

  12. Bale's Hat-Trick V's Inter, fell in love with him there and then! 2010

  13. Spurs 3 - 1 Inter, 2010. One of those magical European nights, Taxi for Maicon!

  14. Le Scum 2 - 3 Spurs, 2010. Wenger becomes first man to send a bottle into orbit.

  15. Crouchy 1 - 0 AC Milan, 2011. I think my head went through the ceiling when this went in!

  1. FLIP! I CANNOT believe I forgot about the CC final win against the Chavs!! Really sorry guys- as it's my first Graham Poll I can only beg your forbearance!

As Lenny pointed out, our starting XI against Man Utd that day was nothing short of s***e. Compare it to their team:

    Peter Schmeichel
    Paul Parker
    Phil Neville
    William Prunier
    Gary Neville
    David Beckham
    Nicky Butt
    Roy Keane
    Andy Cole
    Eric Cantona
    Ryan Giggs

...And the 4-1 win becomes even more incredible. Even Schmeichel getting subbed at half time (as i believe he was) cannot explain how the likes of Caskey and Nethercott could've pulled that off!

I went for the 3-1 V Inter. The lads should've played in Hogwarts uniforms, they were that magic.

I was at work that day listening to it on the radio, hopping from foot to foot for the last ten minutes when I should've been, you know, working...

I went for the 3-2 over Arsenal, partly because the result was satisfying, partly because it proved the 2-1 the season before was no fluke, but mostly because of Wenger's tantrum.

As for the 4-4, whilst it was a great fightback it was ruined by the knowledge Comolli was scheming to remove Jol, and in retrospect the moment that should've made Kaboul's career wasn't built on as Ramos dropped him and sold him to the first bidder...as well as Holte Bellend deciding to piss over the performance on Old606 for months on end...

  12. Who went for the Eboue & Gilberto moment?

I put it in for the sheer comedy value of the whole thing. Wenger's reaction (basically headbutting Jol) was quite frankly disgraceful, especially considering the fact that Arsenal so infamously ignored that Sheff Utd player who was injured in that cup match, and went on to win it thanks to their cruelty. Amazing how many comic moments we've seen at arsenal's expense...

  13. I'm glad someone went for the 4-4, too. That game was the beginning of the end of Arsenal's dominance IMHO.

Our league against them record prior to that stunning performance: DDLDLL

    And since then: DLWWDW

    T'was a golden moment:

I went for the 3-1 v Inter as I was there, but there have been so many great 'Prem era' memories.
