Presume he is on it he was the most quoted on the meeting with the fans. The one where the North Stand rep was wanting a singing area ( they used to be called Kops or something similar) tucked away in the NW corner. Wessie exile responded with Geoff Bielby. I said it was in the record. I never mentioned Bielby. I wouldn’t have expected him to come out the garbage that came out at that meeting especially from this Chris Stern character.
A couple of long term City fans, one of who I have known for 50 years and who was there in the days we were getting crowds of 3,000 was in Türkiye for both games. One of only about 10 for the first game. He was told to get himself down to the boat. The landlady of the Botanic.p told him he couldn’t get on as it was reserved for them. Acun hasn’t got much wrong but his courting of the Botanic lot under the mistaken impression they represent City’s loyalist, most dedicated fans is one of them.
Tbf, has he actually said that? I'd doubt it. I don't actually know them, but they do seem pretty loyal & dedicated. I guess they are simply accessible, unlike many other equally or even more loyal & dedicated fans who are spread out all over the place. I'm guessing there aren't an awful lot of other City themed pubs in Hull (or ER), especially that are close enough to the ground, like Botanic.
Pretty sure the lads are getting the train from Cott tonight for the game, just saw most the squad walking in the rain from training ground down Millhouse Woods to I assume the station
Yes he was at games last season, awkward for him cos he works in a chippy in Burstwick Wednesday to Saturday
Not many here for the game, pitch is looking good but on closer inspection around the warm up areas in front of the south stand it is cutting up already.
