For some reason, the Facebook link will not load.

Morgan’s treatment hasn’t worked so the chemo will stop……

I had to read it two or three times to really grasp the words.
    It is so heartbreaking.
How one copes with that news I don't know.

I don't know what to say other than my thoughts are with Morgan and his family.

I'm sure you will make his remaining time as happy as possible.

    “Following dealings between the legal
representatives of Cardiff City Football Club and the EFL, we can confirm:

The three-window fee restriction, previously in place, has been reduced to a two-window fee restriction. Cardiff City Football Club has already served a one-window fee restriction in January 2023. It will therefore be eligible to pay fees once again for transfers during the January 2024 transfer window.

The Club's Summer 2023 player recruitment plan has already been prepared for some time with this potential ruling in mind

Cardiff City Football Club are extremely pleased with this decision, which recognises the exceptional set of circumstances the Club finds itself in.”

They've done themselves no favours not settling this a long time ago, it all feels very tacky.

    Oi!!
It most definitely is "tacky" Dai.
Nobody involved directly in the transfer comes out of this in a good light. Our owner, the agent, the pilot and Nantes have brought the game into disrepute in my and many other Bluebird's view. I think the fee should have been paid as originally agreed and then if there was any misdoings, there should have been claims through appropriate channels.
But we're just supporters trying to enjoy our club.
    The world has gone mad

Cardiff City have paid FC Nantes the transfer balance for Emiliano Sala, who died in a plane crash before he could play for the Welsh side.

The Bluebirds say they paid off the final two scheduled payments, believed to total around £12m.

But Cardiff have made it clear they will continue legal action against FC Nantes through the French courts.

The Championship club paid the first instalment of Sala's transfer fee in January.

"Cardiff City today paid the second and third instalments of the transfer fee for Emiliano Sala, as recently ordered to do by Fifa," a Cardiff statement said.

"This is despite there not yet being a judicial decision about FC Nantes' liability for the crash. We continue to work towards those responsible being held accountable.

"We look forward to the trial before the French court next year."

Difficult to find anything positive in any news about any part of this sorry affair. No doubt everyone will have an opinion on it all. For me now and as always, I just hope that things move quickly so that the family can finally get closure.
