Exactly what we were promised. Ange-ball. Lovely build up play, forward passing but we will concede. There were enough times that the side-ways pass was on but we put the ball forward and it was very entertaining.
Interesting first half. Lots of chances created in the end, with an emphasis seemingly on bringing other players into scoring positions, not just Kane or Son. I think having Skipp play as an 8 hasn’t helped, though that’s likely more of a pre-season thing. We’re crying out for a CB who is better than Dier but who can also do what Eric does and lead the defensive unit on the pitch though. Someone needed to be organising those corners and making sure a FB was getting out to those crosses for the goals. Lots of encouragement though. We’re certainly in for a more exciting time than recent years if this football is anything to go by.
Sarr, Lo Celso and Devine playing some nice passes whilst Udogie and Perisic seem to already have a good understanding down the left flank. All Spurs. Lo Celso now bags one back!

Him and GLC have been the standouts from this half so far, so fitting they have the goals. Destiny is in for a big season I reckon. Has everything you’d want from a LB for Ange. Gio, all will depend on if he actually wants to stay, and if he ever stays fit to get a proper run of PL games.
