Or perhaps Newcastle haven't grown enough yet to continue with it's expenditure.

There is hardly any if the new sponsors that were reported in the last 12 months renewed, Logan airways, turkey teeth and hair transplants all seem to have vanished off club website

There's two takes on this .

    1. Newcastle have spent about 300 million in 18 months and FFP like the club, manager and media are suggesting has now started to bite

    2. The mental gymnastics in which fans tell themselves it's all just a clever ploy to keep prices down.

Tbh either could be argued , but imo I'm with option 1 simply because we have no evidence whatsoever to support 2 it's just a theory from within the fanbase.

Option 1 doesn't mean no signings but more accurately they'll have to operate more carefully and try to box clever with ins and outs.

FFP is killing us, it’s doing my nut in, we could just run riot if it wasn’t for that. City and Chelsea were such jammy bastards.

not being funny but if we’d actually made a bid for KK, it would be all over the place. Utter ****e

Depends... Entirely on who's between the sticks for the opposition the next time I'm there!

Possibly. The big issue is the wages to turnover ratio being 96%.
It needs to be around 70%.

But we can’t shift any of the deadwood.

I would imagine they'll succeed with that towards the end of the window once the **** clubs are forced to work towards the bottom of their lists.

This is where PIF owned Saudi clubs could help more, if they want to be smart. They don't necessarily need to offer big transfer fees, but at least get some of this lot off our wage bill. And even though we think tsom of them are crap, they would still help to enhance the overall level of the Saudi league, as it currently stands.

Doesn't need to be 70% for a few years (for UEFA), but you're right, that's the ultimate target. If we go over the UEFA limit, we'd get a fine of sorts.

Everyone knows they'll have to make an example of Newcastle the minute they fall foul of FFP.

The tears will be like never seen before

UEFA will give less of a **** than the Prem / FA, but yes, there will be big tears.

However, in the real world where legal process is a thing - we can point at Everton, Man City, Chelsea etc, if we ever have to.
