Morning all. The timing of this efl approval is proving problematic especially if it is preventing Farke from assembling the squad he wants. If it dragged on for let’s say another three weeks we’ll be left scratching around making signings nobody else likely wanted. Let’s be honest we’re about four weeks predicting approval will come tomorrow but in reality nobody has a clue. Really needs doing in next couple of days
To be honest, it's nice to blame the EFL but in reality both Radz AND the 49ers should have worked with the EFL earlier like they did with the PL. It took the PL a couple of days because they had all the information and were ready to go. Radz ego wouldn't allow relegation to even be thought about so didn't register with the EFL so they had to start from scratch.
Still shouldn’t take this long. The 49rs were associated with the club last time we were in the championship and if they passed the PL test what is so much more of a problem for the EFL? It’s no wonder fans think chairmen on the board at rival clubs are deliberately hindering our preseason.
It's all good assigning a bogeyman to the situation but let's face in serious terms we really Don't who's holding it up. If this carries on well be in a worse situation than you expect when we won't be able to sign players till January cos the window has closed and we're stuck with a bunch of 17 year old because the squad has left.
