Wolves have £18 million bid rejected for English star, they now won't be signing him https://www.molineux.news/transfer-...or-english-star-they-now-wont-be-signing-him/
I really don’t understand the logic City have been clear all along £25m to start a conversation, I get clubs will come in lower to then up it, but why even bother if your closing offer is so far below the quoted amount. All I can think is it’s just paper talk with no substance. As I posted earlier I’d be surprised if Scott goes to B’Muff, but what do I know.
West Ham and Spurs still interested and lining up bids apparently - but I thought Scott himself rejected West Ham because Moyes wouldn’t guarantee him first team games. …… .https://www.3addedminutes.com/sport...us-as-west-ham-and-spurs-line-up-bids-4215928
possibly to appease the fans ...like we dont really want them but fits what the fan base says we need, along with you never know they might just agree!??
Bristol City set to face fresh Alex Scott decision as Fabrizio Romano delivers Bournemouth update Bournemouth are readying a second bid for Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/f...on-bournemouths-pursuit-of-bristol-city-star/
There is that I suppose, but even Derby held out for their valuation of Knight, we aren’t in trouble with FFP and we have SL, we don’t have a dire need to sell, anyone who wants him will have to offer an amount acceptable to SL ultimately.
Bournemouth are not far away from our valuation of £20 million plus add ons for Scott. Hopefully better clubs for him start entering. Although if he has a good season with Bournemouth and they get relegated we get sell on if a large bid comes in.
If we enhance his contract maybe take him to age 23 plus 1 then If we / he had a good season and someone in the prem were struggling at christmas we could hold out for more... I think really we should get more for him than £25m , a good package of add ons and a fee of £30m ... prem clubs are not short of cash ..... Id like to see him go to somewhere like WHU Villa or Everton ....
We’ve offered him a new contract, but with Prem clubs circling he obviously is going to keep his options open. I’d be surprised if he goes to B’muff , i maybe wrong, but I think we’ll hold out for £25m regardless, he’d be better off going to a mid table club and it seems a few have shown an interest. Worst case scenario from his perspective stay at City and move Jan or next year when only 1year left on his contract, when prem clubs will be more willing to pay the reduced offer a years contract will involve, or if we get promoted he can stay with us.
Wolves make significant transfer move in battle for Bristol City player Wolves have made an offer of over £20m for Bristol City's Alex Scott. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/w...nsfer-move-in-battle-for-bristol-city-player/
Here we go, he will be gone by Friday. I wonder if the sudden flurry of activity is teams trying to get in before West Ham, as they now have the money from the Rice transfer? Of the 3, I think he’s be best suited to West Ham, and he’s have European football with them.
Supcon, I'd like to think you're right. Still iffy whether we'll get any concrete offers though and hope we're playing a few clubs against each other. Just want it over the line.
Don’t be silly, it’s obvious that he will sign an extension with us knowing that he can earn 15k a week against 50 odd k with a Prem team. I mean it’s not like we’ve not had an improved contract on the table for best part of a season.
