Rambo probably just ensuring he got the deposit back on his rented flat.... You know how picky landlords can be!!!
Bad use of the apostrophe from a professional writer there. To be fair, I did struggle in my attempt to get dots and crosses on the 9th and 20th letters of the alphabet respectively, as was so eloquently pointed out by FFB.
An outsider's view on the Ramsey affair with the rose tinted specs off................ https://www.football365.com/news/aa...ted-nostalgia-trip-past-it-welsh-icon-returns
Its a fair assessment. We've posted similar on here ourselves, though this is more forcibly put. The 'naive' dig at the board probably isn't as forcibly put as we've stated. I feel the success of Ramsey will come down to how he is used. We've said he needs legs around him, and he'll need one or two to be on his wavelength. We saw that with Bellamy. Only Whitts could keep up with his speed of thought. Bulut will need to be shrewd to get the best out of him.
On the "same wavelength" front, I'd love to see a Ramsey/Robinson partnership. There's no doubt they share the same pre-emptive vision on and off the ball. You could throw O'Dowda into that mix to good effect as well.
The trick will be keeping them all fit to play 30+ games together. I guess each will have their own, personalised treatment beds. While the article makes some accurate points I would hazard a guess that the writer is a Jack or Wurzel fan. Jealously rules okay!!!
Lunch time Saturday and still no done deal! Do Tan's lawyers work weekends? Ok, time and a half. Get them in and get it sorted.
Allsop NG Goustos McGuinness Collins Rawls Ramsey O`Dowda Robinson Ugbo Meitie....looks like promotion to me.
Out of that X1 City need a better keeper, a better CB partner for Goutas (who’s Goustos?), Ralls is nowhere good enough (who’s Rawls?) and so Wintle is ahead of him, and if he signs Grant instead of Ugbo. I agree with your omission of Ojo Sawyers Romeo and Rhinomota.
Another one up front. Original source - now on Beeb as well........ https://www.expressandstar.com/spor...riker-karlan-grant-set-for-cardiff-city-loan/ https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66210792
Goutos was another defender I was interested in but we got goutas, Ralls is pronounced Rawls. Wintle had a really bad seasonand messed up no end in attack and his set piece delivery was hopeless. Grant only scored 3 goals last season Ugbo is far better. I hope that clarifies my take on your post and mine.
Going to need to see several going out in order to balance the books. Positive to see Bulut getting signings in though. I know he said he wanted attacking options in, but we're starting to look a bit forward heavy. Defence probably not far off, a couple creative players in the middle of the park now. Ramsey would be one. Hope these guys come in fit. Given the changes he wants to make to playing style Bulut needs technical time with players, not getting them fit. Not long to go.
Everything is under control, we have experienced first team players with the signings and back from injury players and the ones who actually did last season. As far as the right team goes you will be hard pressed to get everyone to agree with myself or you. We go to Leeds and we win.
@jck200 So who is this Goutos you were interested in then? Doesn't matter how Ralls name is pronounced, his written name is Ralls. As for Wintle, he had a solid season in front of Kipre & Co, but must admit he tailed off the last dozen games. Good footballing head on him, but struggled to adapt within an underperforming team under Lamouchi - needs to find some pace from somewhere. Disagree about Grant. He can score plenty, and to pick out last season's stats when he didn't get many starts is unfair. Robinson/Grant/Ugbo/Meite/Etete/Zak Davies and maybe that guy from CSKA as choices up front - I'll take that. There are plenty of goals in that lot with the right service from midfield - see where I'm going?
With his inverted full back and the 6 dropping back and 8 pushing on, wintle is a natural for the 6, dropping into the back 3. You can add Colwill snr and Tanner into the attacking mix. Will be interesting to see where Adams fits in. That leaves 4-6 players heading for the exit permanently with a good few youngsters out on loan. As you say, quite a few in there now who know where the goal is. A bit of creativity and a blob of glue to hang it all together needed.
