Well, if it is in the same city they obviously don’t count in some instances. Some grounds are only in another area, like Wigan because they are in an administrative area called greater Manchester, they are still in Wigan. Same with Bolton before they moved. Technically you could say there no football clubs in Lancashire.
So would you say Bolton now play in the town of Horwich or the town of Bolton as Horwich comes under the same administrative area as Bolton? Horwich is a town and parish and geographically not part of the same conurbation as the town of Bolton?
