Always liked from his reply to what would he have been if he hadn’t been a footballer. He answered a virgin. Did alright for himself with Abbey. Always comes across as a decent sort of bloke grateful for what football has given him.

If I can shorten the jumper story, he's just starting to get recognised as a big name footballer and goes into some fancy clothes shop for a look around (being the place he wouldn't normally go) just as he picks up some garish woolly jumper the assistant ask if he requires any help, so for something to say he asks how much is the jumper, she replies with some astronomical number. Now thinking that if he says he doesn't want it the assistant will think that he Peter Crouch the famous football is too tight to by a jumper even though he's loaded so he buys it. Getting it home he realises just how crap it looks on him so hides it a the back of the wardrobe never to be seen again. Some time later Abbey is having a sort out a comes across this jumper she had never seen before, she asks Pete why he doesn't wear it, he explains that after he bought it he decided its too ugly to wear, and how much did you pay for the hideous thing? Pete sheepishly mumbles the price (he knows it's no good lieing) Abbey says well at that price you will damn well wear it, get it on we're going out.

Watched “ guardians of the galaxy 3 “ absolutely hilarious, I’ll bet they had a lot of fun filming that.
    Really enjoyed it…

Anyone else watched Person of Interest?

It was made for CBS several years ago, but is currently being shown in the U.K. on Freevee.

It’s the story of a tech genius who builds a computer that monitors every phone call, email and camera for the US Government and flags up anything that looks like another 9/11 terrorist attack, while ignoring general crime.

The tech billionaire is believed to be dead and teams up with a special forces bloke who’s also believed to be dead, to prevent murders from happening.

It’s an interesting idea and quite entertaining, even if some of the things they do are utterly ridiculous and not remotely believable.

I was enjoying it for the first eight or so episodes (I’m up to 15 now), then the whole thing got progressively more daft and irritating.

I checked and there’s 103 episodes, so I’ll give it a break soon, but it’s good for a while.

I watched it when it was originally aired, the first season it was decent enough but second season onwards its turns into something excellent and much better than the average tv series, plus Amy Acker's in it so what's not to like ?

I watched it all. It had ups and downs but was watchable to the end. Also ... to reiterate ... Amy Acker.

Tempted to watch it again but too much other stuff to watch.

    Just started, seems watchable.

Imdb gives it good ratings, bit I need the 606ers to vouch for it, otherwise its dead to me!!!!

Watched the first series, which was really good IMHO.
Got a bit repetitive in later series, but first one is worth a watch

First two series are brilliant, the rest are good. All worth watching though.
