    I'd certainly put him in the top bunch of players i've seen at spurs since i was old enough to remember (about '92).
    Barely remember Gazza/Linekar so my top lot would probably be (no particular order):

    * Ginola
    * Berba
    * Klinsmann
    * King
    * Modders
    * Bale
    * Teddy
    * Doherty :)

    Plus, you've gotta love David as a pundit on the bbc. The guy is clearly Spurs, he doesn't even try to hid it :emoticon-0115-inlov

    I've supported Spurs since 1990 and Ginola is definately in my top 5 players in that time.

    Klinsmann
    Sheringham
    King
    Ginola
    Bale

    Gazza and Lineker obviously are legends but like already mentioned they were coming to the end of their Spurs careers just as I got serious about football and Spurs.

    Houllier is such a ****ing idiot.
    60 metre pass?
    Really, Gerrard?

    Everyone behind the ball and you still couldn't defend that and you choose to blame Ginola?
    Twat.

    Stoichkov summed it up perfectly.
    "The French were so scared they played with their buttocks clenched. We knew that's how they would be and our tactics were based on that. They played for a draw and never went looking for the win. They didn't deserve to qualify and we hit them where it hurt the most."
    Negative coaching, draining the confidence of a French side containing players like Desailly, Blanc, Petit, Deschamps, Papin, Ginola and Cantona.
    That's a side begging to play with an attacking swagger, with the back four protected by two outstanding defensive midfielders.

    I think my avatar speaks for itself on my view of Ginola.

    Great footballer, great performer, great attitude, intelligent, good looking, an all round nice guy.

    What a total Bastard! <laugh>

    Somehow he didn't blame the seven - SEVEN - players that did a shoddy job of closing down the ball, let alone consider commiting to a tackle.

  16. And that's a world class finish too. Not exactly a goal gifted on a silver platter. Houllier completely out of order here...

    Ummmm...... So France have an attacking free-kick where the only French player visible is loitering on the edge of the box. Not negative tactics in the slightest eh Houllier? And the fact that not a single French player bothered to close down the Bulgarians from one end of the pitch to the other? Or in any way give the opposition credit for a well taken goal? Speaks volumes for the French "Errr.... it wasn't my fault we didn't qualify/got invaded by the Germans it was all ....... er...... 'is fault!" Houllier, you're **** and you know you are!

    "PSG play at the Parc des Princes. PSG's enemy is Marseille. When he says that Papin and Cantona should not play and that he should play instead... he is a bastard because every time Papin or Cantona touched the ball, they were booed," Houllier wrote.

    He clearly had issues 'before' the game, with DG saying something in the press.

    Sue the nobhead. What an idiot allowing that to go to print. <doh>
