No they haven’t but Wimbledon want their tournament to carry championship points, which it didn’t when they banned the Ruskies , without championship points it becomes a worthless tournament, I’m afraid principles went out the window

If they’d done due diligence with the original complaint probably none of this would have come out, why in 7 weeks had they only attempted one failed phone call and one email ( by their own account ) , that’s poor.

    Quite
But It's the BBC, who had Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris running amok and molesting kids for countless years when everyone around them knew what was going on and turned a blind eye to it all.

So is anyone surprised how bad they still are at doing the basics ?

You’d have hoped they’d had learned at least the basics, if you have a complaint deal with it, 2 failed attempts in 7 weeks isn’t dealing with it, no matter how they try to say it is.

Had they spoken to the parents and investigated properly straight away the parents wouldn’t have needed to go to the sun, as it appears there was nothing illegal done , the matter could have then been dealt with in-house and no one would have been any the wiser. And Huw would not now be in hospital with mental health problems.

People with mental health issues often become expert at hiding it, and it never really goes away, it’s always in the background.

just stop oil at the Proms what a pair of t**ts.

Now here in actually is a concern, they wish for UK to stop drilling and becoming more self sufficient with our energy supply.

IMO we should no such thing, but this time round use the revenue for the greater long term good! By granting the licences the .gov and whoever is in ruling position! [ currently Labour appears to be against? but would benefit from the income as they did last time before wasting it all! ]
we currently import the majority of our oil products although we have some refineries which process our own oil sounds "strange procedure " but the reasoning is simple our oil .. and that from "new fields " is high quality.

    FROM RESEARCH.................
The UK can’t refine and manufacture the amount of oil-based products it uses. Overall refinery capacity in the UK has fallen by around 30% since 2010. This means we rely on other countries to produce the products we need.
Oil from the UKCS is mainly ‘premium crudes’, meaning they are relatively simple to refine and in high demand. Much of it is transported to refineries in hubs around Europe. Some are in the UK and others in nearby countries such as the Netherlands.
Each refinery specialises in different grades of crude oil and producing particular fuels and chemicals. The UK then imports the fuels and other refined products that it needs to balance customer demand with domestic refinery production.
Essentially the UK is part of a network of refineries with countries exporting and importing according to which specialised products they produce and need.

Import volume of crude oil and natural gas liquids to the United Kingdom (UK) in 2021, by country of origin(in 1,000 metric tons)
Norway 15,000 plus 2,000 natural gas
    USA 11,000
    Libya 3,000
    Nigeria 3,000
However .........We produce 53 million tonnes of oil per year in our waters, with an estimated 45 million tonnes of UK-produced oil leaving our shores. The UK imported 51 million tonnes of oil and oil products from countries including Norway, the US, Algeria and Canada.
The Netherlands and China were the biggest purchasers of UK crude oil..

    regarding gas.......

The UK’s gas supply is mainly from the UK Continental Shelf (our waters) and Norway, augmented by LNG shipments which run to the UK’s three main import terminals: Isle of Grain, Dragon, and South Hook. The South Hook and Dragon LNG terminal in the Milford Haven port, Southwest Wales, was launched in 2009.
The UK lacks gas storage capacity for overall demand. Europe has roughly 105 bcm of gas storage capacity, equating to 22 per cent of annual consumption. By contrast, the UK has just 0.9 bcm of gas storage relative to around 80 bcm. The UK often has a surplus capacity to import LNG. Instead of importing substantial amounts of LNG in the summer and storing it in winter storage, the UK relies on its production and Norwegian pipeline supplies, ‘topped up’ with LNG imports. Europe, by contrast, has comparatively less LNG import capacity.

    Finally ..
My take .............. if we dont make ourselves more reliant on energy [ fossil fuels ] new exploration and extraction we will be reliant on others and and oil /gas below our seas will be utilized by others and we will pay through the nose, as fossil fuels will be part of the energy structure for many many more decades.
People think OIL .. fossil fuels petrol diesel gas convert to electric save the planet. It is not so simple, before the industrial revolution timber supplied a lot of what everyday life, along with coal! Iwill sign off with a small number the everyday items that come from crude oil..........
....All plastic is made from petroleum and plastic is used almost everywhere: in cars, houses, toys, computers and clothing. Asphalt used in road construction is a petroleum product as is the synthetic rubber in the tires. Paraffin wax comes from petroleum, as do fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, detergents, phonograph records, photographic film, furniture, packaging materials, surfboards, paints, and artificial fibers used in clothing, upholstery, and carpet backing. They are all utter hypocrites

And the two biggest hypocrites in the world are Dopey Joe Biden and John Kerry

Both are rabid eco zealots and both take the absolute piss out of the right minded massive majority

One senile old man who clearly hasn’t got a clue who he is, where he is and who offers no respect for our King by repeatedly walking in front of him breaking all the protocol imaginable, but who flies around on the 200 ton Air Force One burning jet fuel for fun

The other with a private jet, fleet of luxury cars, multiple homes and who has the audacity to tell average people to get the bus !

They are the scum of the earth

In an unsurprising move, Kerry’s daughter has just had a special role created for her within the WHO scammers who have appointed her Director General Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health. I wonder how she got the job ?

The zealots pushing this climate change bs here and abroad and also the warped gender ideology nonsense that’s swept through our businesses, government, NHS, armed forces, education and emergency services need calling out and exposing, such as Dale Vance whose been given tens of millions by the Labour Party to pedal his crap but get rich quick scheme on green energy company.
We’re paying for something we never asked for.

It’s about time we were given a referendum on the Net Zero sham and let the people decide in a country that contributes 1% of less to global emissions.

And instead of the Digital ID big brother approach, where banks can interfere on how you vote or waft you spend your hard earned money on, what about if all politicians were tracked as to who they meet, what their secret agendas are and what back handers they’re taking ? Marvin Rees springs immediately to mind !
A lot of them are career politicians who just want to make vast sums of money, not serve the electorate.

They are elected by us to carry out the will of the people, not the other way round like most think they are.

well finally the floating home as arrived in Portland docks and awaits the first arrivals, apparently will be about fifty or so!
2 sets of protesters ... stop the barge ... well that didnt work out its moored up now. Although the reasoning behind their protest has now got a slightly different edge ... they say "should be families no men we have children to worry about"
the other mob Stand up to racism are against the barge but 100% welcoming to the refugee's. I bet that STOPS SHORT AT MY HOUSE! ... they wont put a family till their application has been sorted!
Migration bill goes through ... at last ... however some of the bits were bartered out. One such bit was publishing immigration crime every few months, I wonder if this is because they do not want to frighten the the local populations on just how much there is! and .......how many disappear off the radar! ......
Europe is begining to wake up to the problem as they [ immigrants ] now find that the route to UK is saturated and decide to accept Europe is better than nothing. Some other EURO ZONE COUNTRIES are now at bursting point and cant take or afford more!
The numbers now in the european zone have exceeded the size of a couple of small countries , likely ... say Cyprus or Malta / Luxembourg! Imagine the infra stucture to accomodate that many. [ circa three quarters of a million! ] For sanitation alone you would need a reservoir the size of Chew Valley AND about 4 sewage disposal plants! .....

Having deserted their own counrty for a better life they have left their own country to suffer the lack of progress unlike the rest of the world who have strived to make it what it is.
War ravaged areas like Ukraine or Afghanistan /Kurds? / Hong Kong / a few etc's to a much lesser degree refugee's from here I can say need help. The majority of those coming here [ future residents of portland ] I see as cowards, freeloaders weaklings and will certainly be a drain on society

I don't understand why these people who will be housed on the barge are going to be allowed to wander around Portland and Weymouth ? A great way to put off visitors going there that's for sure !

As I've said for a while, Europe as a whole is swiftly getting fed up with economic migrants as people see their neighbourhoods transformed into unsafe places.
Michael Hessletine is suggesting a barrier (whether physical or via stricter policies is unknown) around Europe as this can't be allowed to continue.
There are nearly 30 million immigrants already within Europe and in a lot of countries such as Sweden, Italy and Germany since their arrival, it has seen a wave of gang crime, theft, assaults on women and girls shooting up rapidly, and everyone is sick of it, apart from the blue and pink haired people who stand on beaches handing out freebies. These are probably the same people supporting Extinction Rebellion, Just Stop Oil and PETA.
If southern Europe continues with these current heatwaves year after year, northern Europe will be full of people wanting to migrate from southern Europe escaping the heat. Then what ?

Tell the House of Lords it's none of their unelected business, and lets get this bill into law now, reinforcing the fact that it's illegal to enter the UK without valid documentation or a good reason to be here which doesn't include I want a better life, and anyone doing so will be immediately deported. The traffickers are using every trick in the book for the people that pay these vast sums to cross the Channel. Including destroying their documents, throwing their mobiles away and in some case using a Stanley knife blade on their fingertips so they can't be identified if they have a previous criminal record. Plus they are told to say they are Christian, which 99.9% wont be, or gay and they fear persecution if sent back to their own country, which I'd suggest the vast majority aren't.

Still, Labour have a good plan for cutting the asylum backlog.

It's called let them all stay without going through due process, regardless of who they are or where they are from.

    Brilliant !
