For sex yes. If its photos then no. Nude pictures of Under 18s is illegal, deemed child pornography (had to do a Safeguarding course for a school where this was covered)

It involves a boy apparently. The parents tried to get him off drugs, and HE was supposed to be paying the lad for nude photos and asking him to perform on line for him. The lad used the money for crack cocaine. The parents went to the police who did not act so went to the BBC who it seems took no action so went to The Sun. Apparently the Sun have said they have not paid the parents for the story a they did not ask for money.

It pisses me off why so much is made of stuff like this - it's just prurience on the part of the public and exploitation by the shameless rags. If a crime has been committed then let the law take its own course, otherwise stay out of it. People seem to have nothing better to do with their lives.

They are apparently getting paid tens of thousands for an interview on TalkTV...owned by Murdoch also. 2 things here: 1 Murdoch is desperate to take down the BBC. 2 This is being driven hard by the right wing media, because it pushed the real story about Boris not handing over his phone off the front pages.
