Scheduled for 2013 this film will star John Travolta as John Gotti Jnr, Ben Foster as his son John Gotti III and Al Pacino as Aniello Dellacroce. Joe Pesci was scheduled to play Gambino hitman Angelo Ruggiero but that has hit some problems after the producers wanted him to have a smaller role. Love a good gangster flick and I'm sure they'll get some decent supporting cast but I just hope they don't murder it, excuse the pun. Also heard about Scorcese getting Pacino, De Niro and Pesci together for a movie about Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran, the one time gamgster who claimed it was he that killed Jimmy Hoffa.
These guys are too old now to bring any credibility. Give it up ffs. Put your feet up and listen to some opera or something.
The Gotti's and associates have distanced themselves from the film over the lead role going to John Travolta,and have ordered lots of trades etc. not to help in the making of it. Pesci is suing the producers also , it looks like the film is doomed before it begins.
I don't think so. You don't need to be an action star to be in a gangster movie, afterall if there's any murders it's usually a slidey 2 bullets in the back of the head.
