afaik he was never charged as all i've heard is they looked at parents allegations in april and said no criminal acts had taken place

Always difficult to comment when don’t know all the details.

One question I’d have is why did the parents go to the sun to release the info (payday?) rather than go to the police in the first instance if they were really concerned about their daughter?

Once again, the press (the sun) have put all this info out there as gospel and made the person guilty before any actual investigation can be done. If he has been found totally innocent I’d be going all out putting claims against the sun, the editor, the journalist & the parents.

Only way to stop **** journalism is to make the journalists and editors responsible, rather than the overral paper just paying off a bit of money, less than they prob make from all the clicks online

 

I presume the rag has photos and stuff. otherwise he should burn it to the ground with law suits.
