Seems easy to start with this season then you start thinking and it goes to ****. I started with TAA and Halaand with a solid midfield as there are some good options, had Saka in there as well. Then I decided it's stupid to go without Salah. That's not such an easy team to pick once you have the 2 premiums.
I’m in and won’t forget about it 10 weeks in and not log in this time! wonder how long it’ll be before they start actually classifying players like Salah/Saka/rashford as forwards and not midfielders. Too many good midfielders that are actually forwards make it too easy to pick and means the list of available forwards worth picking is about 4
agreed . Obviously some straddle the mF/FW line but the likes of those you mentioned are clearly just forwards
Been a bug bear for a while. As you say def some that could go either way, but anyone that constantly plays high and wide in a front 3 is a forward if you ask me. They’re there to score goals not get down the line and cross for a CF
It’s more the fact that you could in theory have Haaland Salah Saka rashford martinelli in the same side. Despite the fact that I’d class all 5 of those as strikers. And I’d imagine there are a lot of people with 4/5 of those players in their team. Make them actual strikers and can only have 3 of them and varies some of the squad choices.
And that becomes the exact issue. If everyone has the same players becomes a boring game. Last year everyone had Haaland as captain every single week. It made the whole thing pointless. If everyone has him doesn’t matter if he scored 5 or none.
Wouldn't have made a difference if those 'midfielders' you mentioned were listed as forwards, most would have still captained Haaland and most would have Salah and/or Kane too.
Most team been pretty set for little while now. Really don’t know what to do with TAA though. He needs to be getting an assist or clean sheet every game to warrant the 8m and atm we do not look like keeping clean sheets. Especially with tough first couple away games. Add in Szobo seems to be on corners reduces his chance of an assist from that

Didn't captain Halaand and benched Alvarez but not too bothered right now, need something from Saka to make up from it.
