Just Spoons mate, one thing they always have is good cold clean beer. mostly anyways

 

I don't mind Spoons if you can avoid the grubby dreary ones. I think his early pubs were generally a mess and were in poor locations, so much so I wouldn't go anywhere near one. But as more came on the market they were brightened up a bit or at least had decent outside spaces.

The food is always hit and miss, mainly miss, but if you are starving and had a few beers, then it is what it is. I would generally use one for the price of the beer, very rare you would pay more than £3 for a pint, unless in London. Most ales I drink are generally just over a couple of quid.

If it was a really hot day, I might drink a lager, depends what mood I'm in, if I'm in a bad mood, it'll be I aint drinking that shhite lol.

Although when I did the Italian in Rochester High St, I think I had a Peroni, and it was surprisingly really nice and perfectly chilled. Not sure why I'm bigging up Peroni, but for some reason that day I enjoyed it....maybe I was in a really good mood eh!

 

Got two on my high road, the bigger ones near the station so has higher prices, the other ones the oap club, always full with grave dodgers keeping warm all day.

Tbh I'm quite lucky where i am for pubs, got the two cheap houses, all the pubs on the river and a fair few nice boozers in Chiswick although the prices there are a bit steep to say the least and its all them flavoured gay beers anyways

For some reason the Punk ipa as gone from good to ****e.

Yeah that's the one good thing where you are, plenty of boozers still, and often along the river or in open spaces.

 

Yeah Asahi is great stuff. Nice and clean and a decent strength too. I sup it a lot at home as little local store has it in it's "big bottles" offer.

Thats how i first tried it, came in a lagers of the world pack of 12 bottles i got a few xmas ago, that was my favourite out the lot.

Becks is usually my 1st choice in a bottle, tastes like **** on draft or in a can tho
