Since Jack Clarke went to Sunderland, he's a different player. I'd take him back like a shot.

We bought Rutter for £35 because of his potential and he's 21. Gnonto is two years younger, a full Italian International, has four years remaining on his contract, and a far better player.

 

Yeah Gnonto is not going to be sold cheap. Make him honour his contract until a proper offer comes in. Everton have no chance of signing him they are skint.

 

I quite like the new home kit. No doubt a sponsors logo will mess that up.

They are the worst shade of colours I've seen for Leeds Utd goalie shirts.

I like the Peacock watermark thing but from the chest up the badge, collar and stripes all look a bit cheap to me. I'd rather last seasons collar / stripes on the rest of this new design.

Not saying I wouldn’t have him back in the championship but we sold at the right time for a very good profit and I’m thinking Gnoto might be a similar situation as he did blow hot and cold massively and no guarantee he lives up to his potential. If we kept him and he had a rubbish season he wouldn’t be worth the 5m we bought him for. Just look at Meslier, we wanted 30m for him a year or two ago and now we’d barely get 10. Spurs we’re going to pay 30m for Bamford and now we’ll be lucky to recoup the money we paid. I’m not saying he’s a bad player, I just think if we can get 22m now which is a 17m profit it’s good business as long as we keep one left winger out of the 3-4 we have, we also don’t have the power of being in the PL and because we’ve got these stupid loans in contracts we can’t sell barely any of our other assets. Also, Gnoto hasn’t come back from international duty where the likes of Cooper, Wober & James all have which says he doesn’t want to be here and if that’s the case I’m happy for him to go. Don’t want players like that here. Rutter was silly business from us and we’ll see if that pays off long term.

I won't buy one with sponsors logo on now, haven't done for a few years, I've got plenty of old shirts with them on but all the recent ones have been bought for me as presents, **** that, I'd rather pay a bit extra for one without than walk around like a ****ing billboard
