Exactly Gessa, I read a story recently in the Kent paper, where some lad (forget his age) had been upskirting, I think he got put on the sex offenders register. This is the sort of thing the law was brought in to protect against.
still not illegal though he’s just gotta love with his shame and that’s gonna be difficult for him to live with… him being as face of tv news and all that jazz Edit seems there’s another law passed I wasn’t aware of then…..is this another one of them laws for us and not for them types
A lawyer representing the young person has said claims made by the mother at the heart of the BBC presenter scandal are 'rubbish.' Ffs, it's still not morally right, and as I understand it, it is illegal under 18 to transmit pictures, unless said pictures are fake?
oh don't get me wrong the presenter (whoever that is) is a sleazy **** but find it weird they can have sex but no pics .
Yeah I think the law on pics changed due to the social media / mobile phone technology these days, I expect when this is done, it makes the law look disjointed because it's only one part of the law being changed - so I get where you are coming from.
Claims made by the mother at the heart of the BBC presenter scandal are "rubbish", a lawyer representing the young person has said. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-66159357 A spokesperson for the Sun said: "We have reported a story about two very concerned parents who made a complaint to the BBC about the behaviour of a presenter and the welfare of their child.
They added. Their complaint was not acted upon by the BBC. We have seen evidence that supports their concerns. It’s now for the BBC to properly investigate."
I think we've got a parent who is concerned, the same as I would be if my 17 year old child was seeing a man of a certain age ie someone old enough to be your grandad and who is a celebrity.
It was the mom that reported it, allegedly for no cash gain, as the bbc mostly ignored her when she approached them over it. The victim never admitted to any of it, so no surprise with this new outcome.
Did wonder the same and only conclusion I came to, was some folk don't trust the police, like them and will try to avoid them at all costs.
Maybe the mum wasn't sure if any laws had been broken, but wanted to call out an old man engaging with her loved one.
Sucky I've deleted your tweet mate, until this story sorts itself out. Only because I know it's there and I'm actually posting on this thread.
Tbh I thought anything goes with consenting adults no matter the age difference anyway what’s the chances huw will change into a lady and end up in celebrity get me out of here
