Last night my mate was at a talk in with Peter Beardsley and he said that Magia transfer is all complete, funds are transferred just waiting for Jan....

Now i know this is news everyone knows but i am posting this simply because i think its a terrible move!....

    a) he looks ****
    b) he is an african player who will go straight on african nation duty
    c) spat his dummy out because he wanted to leave other club, whats to say he isn't going to do that to us and disrupt the camp?...
    d) i was hoping for a quick player, he looks like another ameobi

    thoughts?

    a) How much of him have you watched?
    b) He'll be signed for 4/5 years not for a month
    c) Ben Arfa? If after 2 years or so he wants to leave it'll only be because he's been banging the goals in for us, hopefully propelling us to Europe.
    d) He is pretty quick if you watch him. There's only 2 Ameobis.

    In Carr I trust.

I will give him a chance. However I doubt the credibility of this story. I just don't think the reserve team manager would reveal that.

He's not the reserve team manager anymore. Can't remember his new role like, some type of scout or rep.

He's head of 'Football Development Manager' - he's the guy who'll go around speaking to future prospects, temping them to the Toon as opposed to other clubs...Can't think of many who'd be better tbf!

Either way, I don't think we would reveal who we have signed a month and a half before the window opens.

Imagine that though. You're a highly rated youngster picking your next club, after seeing standard business men in suits all day the legend that is Beardo walks in.

You'd get starstruck and just agree to whatever he says.

Do many 15/16/17 year old kids outside of NUFC supporters know who Pedro is now? I'm sure their dads would though...

    a) He had a 30 goal partnership with Ideye Brown last season, 15 goals each. If that's **** then 90% of footballers may as well give up.
    b) Fair enough, but I wouldn't be surprised if we sign another striker anyway (linked with a few lately), plus need replacement for Lover/Ranger as well.
    c) Ben Arfa?
    d) He is quick and looks nothing like another Ameobi.

For people doubting this; there was definitely a Beardsley talk last night, lends a bit more credibility.
