You can say the exact same about us though. The Gala goals came from errors from youngsters that have never played a competitive game for us and a fringe player who will likely be gone in the next 6 weeks.

"Don't knock 'em Pete" - I think you have got confused if in any way you think I was knocking them
I'm not saying they didnt go because of City but I would expect they would make more of a holiday out of it than if they went to Ipswich
I was sat in front of you at QPR last season

I don’t think anyone is really misled
No one is saying that because we won a pre season friendly that we’re a better team than Galatasaray. That would be ridiculous.
It was just a fun game and the goals we did score showed some good finishing. We also had some players that played pretty well against good opposition, which was good to see.
The score was a very enjoyable ending, but that’s all really.

Twitter is full of this rubbish from Galatasaray fans. I know there's probably no such thing as a friendly in Turkey but the way theyr're all taking it to heart is pathetic.

Conversely, the way some of our fans reacted to a second half come back against an eleven who were mainly youngsters who will be nowhere near the first team next season was somewhat over exuberant.

I think you'd struggle to find quotes to back up that claim. Aside from a couple of tongue-in-cheek statements, the posts on this thread have been quite negative overall.

If Connolly stays fit and Delap is as good as he looks then we have a reasonable set of strikers
We really need to get a good goalkeeper though
Just Ingram isnt good enough on his own

You suggesting we play another keeper alongside him? Don't think that's allowed. Or is that what Rosenior meant when he said ages back that we'd have a playing style that nobody else has?

Fatty Fieldhouse once wrote that City were considering a revolutionary 4 4 3 formation.<laugh>
