Season's already started. 30th June is the end, 1st July is the start That's why footballers contracts run from 1/7 to 30/6 the next year.
Gerrard statement about moving to Saudi club… he got a real family feel. Wonder if his wife and daughters have moved over with him. I know has to say those kind of things but just seems really poor
no I sincerely doubt it. a lot of the family are older anyway and into drug dealers. I'd strongly suspect he's there on his own
My nephew lived in Saudi, but they would not allow his wife and daughter in. He moved to Kuwait and they were able to move there. He has been there about 10 years now. He said Saudi was very repressive, especially for fmales.
If Kane fall for another 'vision' from a new Spurs manager, he's a massive moron that doesn't want to look back on his career and see what he won. Last chance for him really to make the move and actually come away with more than just runner up medals.
In the long run, nobody cares about records as they'll all be broken at some point. He's got a chance this summer to move and win titles and cups and to do something in the CL. None of which he'll get if he stays at Spurs.
I'd say more people remember Shearer for the goalscoring record than they remember him for anything else.
Until it gets broken, then nobody will remember him for it. I'd also say alot of that is because he's still on TV and he's the first to set the record for the PL (as it was new when he started)
Well if he goes to a club that actually has a chance at winning something.... then winning something At the moment he's always going to be know as a player that despite scoring lots of goals won nothing.
I'll go back to my original comment... ...I think Kane would need to win a few things to better (in terms of fans remembering) the goalscoring record achievement
Kane cares very much. Remember he's the player who 'stole' a teammates goal because he was going for the golden boot, stayed at Spurs this season to break Greaves' record which is unlikely to be broken again. He could have moved on every season for the past three or four to win cups, he's never done it because he only seems to care about personal accolades and records several of which were up for grabs at Spurs. I'm not joking that if he thought he could break Shearer's records at Newcastle, he would choose that over winning the Bundesliga.
