Think it's about time Leeds stopped signing cast offs and showed some ambition. Hopefully this week our own cast offs will start to leave.

Reports going round that we're going in for Ryan Fraser at Newcastle. From what I understand Fraser and Howe don't get on after an incident at Bournemouth.
Ryan Fraser is decent imo. He's no world beater by any stretch. He might not be rapid over a long distance but he has a low centre of gravity and is nippy over 5 yards. He has good vision and can pick a pass. Perfectly acceptable if he is cheap and we lose Gnonto, Summerville and Harrison. He is very creative.
Are we going to lose Harrison? The only club in for him last January were Leicester and they got relegated with us so seems he’d be playing championship football regardless.
It's reported that under his new contract that he has a release clause of 17 million. That's a steal for someone if true. The likes of West Ham, Everton, Fulham are rumoured to be interested but may have to wait until they can offload players before they make an official bid. However, it's pretty obvious that the 49ers are speaking to a handful of players that they see as intrinsic to the long term future of the club and apparently Harrison is part of that group.
I get the feeling that the 49ers have a list of players they want to keep but if they get a decent enough bid for said player then they will sell.
The big worrying rumour is Sam Sturridge from Forest. Because he played England U21 I looked at his career stats and to be frank he’s crap. We need a proven goalscorer not someone with potential and a late developer. The kid is already 24yo and don’t think he’s scored 24 goals combined in his career to date
I think the big problem is that we need to build a squad and quick especially as we don't know who's staying. We don't want a make shift team that will be ripped apart in 2 years time. Back in 04 Blackwell probably had an easier job cos he had to just sign a squad as we knew everyone was going due to the financial problems. He still managed to mess it up and took him his 2nd season incharge to actually get the team he probably wanted.
