I suspect he's better at max even in that department.. I don't buy into the notion he's class but I think he's a solid signing that will link up nicely with Bruno and score goals... he seems to like a one two much like Almiron on the right last season.
Which is an improvement of Maxi who given the choice of a 1-2 or trying to go through 7 will always choose the latter.
I have to agree it irritates me because he will never just use his pace to run in behind.
Maybe the Toon should pay him extra for his assists leading to a goal bonus rather than his scored goals bonus
Then he might be a better team player

Im not 100% on Schar starting the season first choice, or without competition. Still a CB and LB needed. Then it’s just improving the squad and youth.
