They made a **** load of money in the conference something like 25 million. They’ve got a huge deal with Tic Toc (whatever it’s called) as sponsors. There will be FFP this year but they’ve make a lot of money. It won’t be Kal but there will be some players willing to drop down two leagues just to get on that bandwagon of theirs.
I’ve no idea where this has come from or how true it is, but if it’s true they won’t play him what’s the point from his perspective. To carry on his improvement he needs game time. He’s still young, another season in the championship is more beneficial than sitting on the bench in the PL. The improvement he’s made in the last 18 months wouldn’t have happened if he’d not been playing every week.
I see the young lad Simms has been bought by Coventry from Everton. He was good at Sunderland, and a real handful at the Gate, although Naismith did give him some real gifts…. I would have liked us to be chase a young Premiership player like this, with Championship experience, rather than a young L1 or 2 player with little or no Championship experience.
Bristol City need to ensure they beat Swansea City in Man City player pursuit: Opinion Bristol City, Swansea City and Reading have been credited with the Man City starlet. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/b...nsea-city-in-man-city-player-pursuit-opinion/
the big difference is between us [ we are trying to get players on the cheap from lower divisions and hope they rise to the challenge ] .... and them [ all other clubs /a lot of (championship) clubs who speculate on players with "quality partly proven in background and championship ] Ryan Kent got no game time hardly in first half of season ... and in second half when at BCFC .. face didnt fit? went on to greater things the season after and now as a free agent going to Turkey?
I take it you didn’t see the games kent played, I did, he was crap, we played him at times purely because we were contracted to play him as part of the loan deal. In the end we stopped playing him anyway, much to the annoyance of Liverpool and I’m pretty sure we had to pay a fine. HE WAS CRAP.
I agree and not the nicest guy in the world either, extremely disliked at Rangers. Can't remember if it was £300 or £400k we were fined by Liverpool for not playing him. Total waste of money.
I remember him being greedy to a fault. Every time he got the ball he’d try and go on a mazy run and end up being inevitably dispossessed after running into traffic. You could see the other city players stop after Kent got the ball - they knew they wouldn’t receive it back.

Bristol City target to ‘have medical’ ahead of £2m transfer from Derby Bristol City are closing in on their fourth signing of the summer transfer window - with a medical to take place next week. https://www.bristolworld.com/sport/...cal-ahead-of-ps2m-transfer-from-derby-4212520 https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/m...istol-city-derby-close-to-transfer-agreement/
We are having a very good transfer window if this goes ahead, it’s just a shame Kalas didn’t re sign.
I thought you said it had fallen through because West Ham said he’s unlikely to play at all this season? Or as you put it, it was a “clusterfuck”.
wasnt that one of those parties where you throw the car keys into a fruit bowl, allways wondered where the wife went,,,,,
