The headline had me intrigued for a minute - "England international plays as triallist for Watford against Arsenal" https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...layed-trialist-Watford-friendly-Saturday.html
He's crucial to any success we may have this season. I feel better than I did last pre season: we all knew we looked good on paper but were absolute tripe on the pitch - like a Lamborghini filled up with diesel!
Pussetto, Fletcher and Okoye - unsurprisingly no future for them here. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/23648137.trio-watford-players-look-set-loan-transfer/
Well Fletcher will probably end up on loan in Div 1 but the other 2 have good reputations despite Watford's treatment of them. Pussetto is the best of them and now recovered from injury will find another Italian club for sure.
By "Watford's treatment of them" I'm assuming you mean treatment by the Head Coaches? Okoye in particular has had the time and opportunity to impress quite a few but simply hasn't managed to. I can't remember how many opportunities he had to impress the fans - one or two? - but equally failed to do so. As for Pussetto, after watching him a couple of times I wondered why we had bought him - he simply seemed to be far too lightweight for the English game and never seemed to offer much.
That's the key word. I think he has a bit of vision and plenty of skill. Problem is that that's all well and good in Serie A and to a lesser extent the EPL. In the Championship there are plenty of proper bullies rather than just kick-merchants: Millwall and QPR to name but two opponents that bullied us out of it last season.
