Chelsea have and have always had a good squad. They just needed a manager to make them into a team rather than a bunch of individuals. Kepa - alright, had a decent season last year James and Chilwell both great fb’s Thiago / Foffana / Chilwell. Good experienced and top 2 young players. Enzo - very good young player and came in and hit the ground running. Caceido - if they sign will be good for them as well. Madueke/Nkunku/Mudryk/Sterling - mix of youth and experience there. All good players at previous clubs so have potential to score goals. Jackson - unknown really. Missing a top cf unless they do play Nkunku there. Then have some decent squad players in Gallagher, badiashille, broja, hall,
Or perhaps you're being a bit harsh? (out of character I know ) Cheslea have some good players, the problem is Boehly bought like he was in a trolley-dash in a toy shop and his managers had no idea what to do with them all once they'd got the wrappers off. Someone needs to distil that squad into a working unit. Poch could well be the one - we'll have to wait and see - but the manager has to be the one to pick the signings because the owner is deranged.
Look, theres gaps there. I don't think cucurella is any good on the ball and chilwell can't defend (even worse than trent @Diego ) I really don't rate kepa. I don't think his concentration levels are there and he doens't actually do the basics very well. I think james has serious fitness issues. Honeslty they have a lot of issues on the wings and As of now i don't know who these new stirkers will work out the key point is all of their shiny forwards bar sterling have little to no prem experience and it is different (not better, just faster and more back and forth stuff) theres a huge amount of work for pochettino to do to cull the quad and get them fit enough to play his game style. If they fill the midfield up now then I think that back line is as dodgy as spurs. who knows.
That's the beauty of the game - you can't know for sure what will happen. Even City might fail to buy win the league again this time (though admittedly that's a bit of a long-shot).

I don't think theres the cover for the backs they think ther eis and i think its unbalanced. The cover is not there so it'll be interesting to see what happens over the course of a full season after they had their "heartbreak" either they do even better over the first 3 or 4 months of the seaosn and dominate or they don't. Again, i really don't get the havertz buy at this point and i just feel it looks unbalanced in favour of go forward intensity.

its as of today so I don't know who comes in to replace fred. having a midfield of fat old man who cant run, man with pacemaker and lazy whinger doens't make much sense to me (casemiro, eriske, fernandes) I am sort of assuming martial will just be injured in my line up. he usually is.
