Only follow links posted on here to the site and to be honest it's a mixture of wannabees and idiots. Some good stuff if you can sort the wheat from the chaff.
As far as I am concerned Annis is a tool and folk who listen to him are fooling themselves if they think he's got the clubs best interests at heart. I believe he's still pissed he's no longer on the Sam gravy train and dearly wants a foot in with the Malaysians, of course this is my opinion and I could be wrong.
Still not sure about Carl, obviously loves the club but too close to Annis for my liking.

i've got to say i may go against the grain here but personally i dont really like the way foreign owners come in and make killings out of football clubs, when the liverpool owners lost £80m each i laughed my head off, and i'm sure so did thousands of liverpudlians. i suppose that belief stems from that growing commercialisation of football, nowadays so many clubs are owned by businessmen, even in the championship you have leicester and others.

i suppose having foreign owners take money out of a club only becomes an issue when the team is failing on the pitch and so far that hasnt happened under the malaysians. i dont see the malaysians as saving the club, they wouldnt be here if they didnt think they could make money, therefore i see them as businessmen, and not in the same way that clubs who have a fan as an owner.

I dont know why hes asked this question.

I would have thought it would take many years in the PL for them to make tens of millions.

Theyve put in many millions already to sort out debts and there are other debts to sort.

    So strange question!

If the Malaysians hadn't come in when they did, well we might not have a club to support,,,,,,,,,if they make a few quid out of it best of luck to them. They are business men, and realise the more successful they make the club, the higher the profit potential, I'm sure our friends in SE Asia can tell you how important "face" is to people in that part of the world, so being associated with a PL club would give them tremendous kudos......the fans want success, and so do the owners, maybe not for exactly the same reasons, but so what, the most important thing is the survival/success of Cardiff City and so far these guys have worked hard and put their money where their mouth is, certain "fans" on other boards may not like it as they have had their noses put out of joint, but as far as I'm concerned our new owners have been a godsend <ok>

    good post proph.

i suppose foreign owners come in different shapes and sizes, at least these guys have actually put in money to clear debts and sign players to help the manager (bellamy, for example), unlike the owners of, say, blackburn rovers, who come in, plunge the club into turmoil by sacking their manager, appointing an unknown yes man in kean who will not complain about being told to manage a certain way, and be pressured into signing ronaldinho and beckham to raise the profile of the club, and at the same time selling their best young prospect in god knows how many years and without reinvesting the money, and now look where they are in the table <laugh>

    rant over!

Hmm.....another Bridgend boy eh? Welcome on board from another - also looks like we started to watch them as boys the same time in the late 60's.

It's pretty obvious the Capital of Mid Glamorgan is a Bluebirds stronghold. :emoticon-0105-wink:
