Satan's never written a book about his beliefs. We get the fear porn version from the 'good' religions. Why would satan punish people for being bad? Wouldn't that be what he wanted them to do? If any of the Gods were true to their claim of being omnipotent, wouldn't they just destroy a satan? If they don't, they're either not all powerful, or don't care. Either way they fail their own test of being a God and the books some ignorant people lay so much store by are therefore bollocks.

It's comforting for people that lose loved one's to believe they don't just die & for people with no moral compass to try not to be evil . I'm not for pushing beliefs on other people or claiming to have ownership of land because you claim to be God's chosen people etc
That's not unique to mainstream religions though, and there are many ways that message can be offered. Based on their own books, mainstream Abrahimic faiths are provably false. If people want to believe those things, that's their choice, but they shouldn't get special advancement and rights as a consequence.
