    Oh no,.not Karlsruher!

Less than a month away, even if we're not getting another midfielder... Seems critical to me, we should have another Right Back before we start training for the next season.

If we don't have another fullback before Karlsruher, I'm going to face the general direction of Boston and blow a dozen raspberries at Henry. Then, I shall turn to face Liverpool and blow a couple of raspberries at Klopp.

Sign a.rigjtback Liverpool or face.my wrath.

Karlsruher is the deadline I'm setting here. We really should have next year's team ready before we start the summer practice games.

and putting bradley and morton on the market.

The first 2 or 3 of these games will be all about showing off the assets to be sold.

    Kelleher
    Bradley
    Morton

    dont be ****ing ridiculous.

19th july is far too late. most of the best preseason sessions are done by then.

    7th july or FSG out.

if FSG sell us there has to be a fair chance we end up being owned by a middle east entity so be careful what you wish for .

thats down to their greed so they can be blamed there too.

As it stands public ownership via stock market is the only solution for man utd, us and arsenal

Newcastle can go to the wall now, the saudi thing is ridiculous. cheslea too.

these influences are driving the thing nuts

I am all for 50+1 German style rule. collapse the whole thing and build it up anew

Aren't United still technically available on the stock market? I thought they were but Glazers own controlling share. I didn't think they were ever publicly delisted... Not that it matters as long as Glazers hold most.

yes they are. on the us stock market and thst is absolutely ****ing stupid imo.

but people can buy a small amount of man utd and tie themselves to the glaziers.

the company was delisted in London and after a while refloated on us stock market.

so lfc have 2 signings not 3 in time for the preseason kick off.

there's gaps in the squad so expectations need to be about 4th and winning europa league.

helpfully all the attackers come through preseason well as imo that's where we will succeed most.

I think it's premature to think of challenging for the title in the first year of a rebound. Top four, and ideally any piece of silver next season, I will consider a success.

It's the year after I would target challenging again. Give our new midfield time to gel.

The last time someone won the title after finishing outside the top four was Leicester's freak 2016 season. Before that you have to go all the way back to Nottingham Forest in '79.

a really odd one has just popped up

    https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/liverpool-complete-pre-season-fixtures-v-sv-darmstadt-98-deepdale

we are going to play on august 7th at deepdale against german opposition.

this suggests the ground even with a closed anfield road end is simply not ready to host a game and the level of opponent suggests they were not willing to say go to Ireland and rent a stadium for a game was this opponent wouldn't fill it. (we did that a couple times with bigger games)

I really think that stadium is well behind. Everyone is saying its "on track"
