Farkes comments re players giving 100% are correct. Fans are not the issue nor are they fools. Most could see last seasons squad for the most part, neither cared about the club or could be bothered about their inept performances and Leeds fans will not tolerate a repeat. They’ll always get the support they deserve from the fans. Players need to start earning it again. For all the negatives relegation brings, there is no doubt a massive reset was needed at the club. Doubt we’d have seen it if we’d survived last season. We’d have likely stumbled along for another season with the bulk of that squad and two or three more second rate coaches. Farke appears to be right man for a proper rebuild given the time and resources. Looking forward to seeing our lineup after transfer window closes and hope anyone playing for us is there because coach wants them rather than couldn’t get rid of

The old saying about not appreciating what you had until it’s gone sprang to mind last season. The gulf between Jesse and Bielsa was vast and the appointments afterwards not to mentioning handling and timing were utter nonsense.

The craziness of last season and the delay in announcing Farke will buy him time with the fans and we’ll stop the Bielsa vs Jesse debates. I’ve got to admit, if they’d announced Farke on day one, I’d have been hugely underwhelmed.

With the worry about some who were linked and the long delay, I ended up relieved we’d got Farke. It gave me time too to realise Potter and Rogers were never going to be up for the challenge.

I don’t believe the 49ers will be better owners than Radz, they’ll just have greater funds, but I never had a beef with Radz anyway. We’ve got rid of Orta who had too much control and wasted too much money and there is no argument that we’ve a better coach now than last seasons. Even though I didn’t mind Radz the dual ownership was causing issues.

We’ve got money, we’ll be one of the favourites to go up, we’ve a decent coach, we should be able to beat the opposition to most transfer targets this season. Hull desperately wanting to Keep Darlow but can’t afford him one example (assuming he signs)

Last season was a mix of injuries and a few players not caring. The big problem was the signing of McKennie, came into the club as Billy big bollocks, common knowledge he fell out with Roca and that rift never healed, but there was Fallings out with others because of his attitude, the nobhead should have been dropped, even embarrassed by the club, Gyabi couldn't have been any worse. Long time since I disliked a Leeds player, like I dislike him.

FARKE has just gotten rid of Marcus Abad our goalkeeping coach. So be interesting to see who comes in and where that leaves Meslier etc. will Abad be on his way to his mate Victor Orta?

Wasn't there a story that Abad wasn't even a goalkeeper himself yet Orta had him coaching in pl or am I dreaming that one Doc

Think that's true and just shows how bad Orta was.

Correct mate. He was a coach at Elche and saw a gap in the market. He got into that gap and in fairness did a very good job at Elche, even though he has never kept goal and is only 5’6”. Highly regarded but come on how does a small guy explain to a big guy how to get down and cover his near post or anything else…. He’s been at the club 6 years and made some money from moving keepers on and getting Meslier sorted but we need a sweeper keeper and ….

Good, he hasn’t improved one keeper since he’s been here.

Rather pleased with the Farke appointment, sounds like he will be a strong manager and won’t put up with any big ego’s
Let’s get behind him and give our full support, regarding the players they have a lot to prove after last season’s debacle

I'm happy with the appointment, I think he'll do a good job. You'd have to imagine his experience in the Championship will count for a lot this season.

I guess I'm the only one here who's not enamoured by Farter's appointment. I just can't get over his PL record with Norwich. Norwich's PL performance under him were absolutely dire. I think I've got his stats right, & they don't look at all good.

    2019-20
    P38, W5, D6, L27, 26f, 75a = -49GD

    2021-22
    P11, W1, D2, L8, 5f, 26a = -21GD

    Overall
    P49, W6, D8, L35, 31f, 101a = -70GD

His PL stats are even worse that Hank the ****'s - by a long way. Personally, I don't want him getting us promoted if we have further humiliation to experience in the PL.

..... and don't mention that fcuking voice & hairstyle! <yikes>

I personally think the problems at Norwich in the PL were lack of funds to take the club forward, so Farke or for that matter anyone else who tried would have had their hands tied, in otherwards Norwich went as far as they could with their financial situation. However we are comparatively well off and with the right coach, ie Farke, we should be able to compete and flourish very well. now that's for the future lets give him our 100% support and get promoted first time of asking.

Is that also down to Pukki being past his prime though.

Pukki scored nearly 30 goals in each of their promotion seasons.

Think Maddison had already gone mate but there was a good sprinkle of quality and some good youngsters coming through (Aarons, Godfrey, Cantwell).

I think you just judge on results, no need to over-complicate the analysis. He can get Championship teams promoted, he can’t keep them in the Prem (with the caveat Norwich did not have massive funds to invest in their Premium squads - but then, nor do we).
