Having read a lot of the thread. 3 nil down we are **** relegation fodder/ 4-3 up its only a friendly against youth/ reserve players. Think it’s best we get tanked 6-0 so moral drops like a hookers draws.
Different perspective inside the stadium. Must have have seen a turtles head develop in the previous passage of play.
Re watched the highlights. Oscar must not be sold. I thought his all round play in the second half was superb. Here we have a striker who could easily get 20+ goals in the Championship.
People forget he was leading the line without any wingers behind him for a good chunk. As well as playing with an ankle injury. Unfairly criticised considering we were down without his goals..
He had the same players around him today that he had all last season but looked a different player so I'm not sure how that works.
So you agree a City fan is getting some nice freebies, when you said you doubted they were free, make your mind up.
All last season? You’re joking aren’t you? For a large part of last season, Oscar would be up front with central midfielders playing out wide.
I can think of a hundred more deserving fans over me that would like the same opportunity. Not you though cos you're a ****
You're making out as if we had new wingers today and played a new way. He had Longman on one side and a kid on the other with Slater alongside him. The difference today was that his link play was top-drawer, he made many more challenges and duels than usual and I can't remember one he lost. His pass completion would have been sky-high too which is something else we aren't used to, and I think every pass he played was the correct one. I don't like this notion of making excuses for him last season when he was poor. Today he was creating things by himself and was fantastic and I hope he continues in a similar vein. Best performance from a City centre forward in years and that's without the goal.
It’s not excuses if it’s a genuine issue though is it? Of course he could’ve been better but you blatantly ignore context. Few days ago it was brilliant business to be letting him go in your opinion.
Just watched the highlights. Some of that suicidal stuff in the first half was properly scary, pre season or not. Chaotic. Fully deserved win judging by the highlights though, we created most of Galatasaray’s chances for them, and created all our own too and could have scored more. Really need to stop the ridiculous passing to the enemy though, the third goal was particularly bad, trying to pass it across our own box defending a set piece with basically the entire enemy army in our box. Absurd. Just get it clear and push out into shape.
