I think the calendar saturation coupled with a dull championship is reducing my interest in F1. Unless there's a tight championship battle, I can already look at that calendar and know I'll skip Netherlands, Qatar, Abu Dhabi at least.
God I miss Australia as a season opener. It just felt right. Aussie fans electric, nice dose of blue sky, sun and optimism, and loads of hype and hope. Bahrain for me is just too artificial to kick off F1.
We are going to Belgium this year , went last year but the wife got food poisoning . it will be my 3rd visit , and hoping the wife enjoys it , her first race ever . I’m looking forwards to it , but must admit part of me is wondering what it will be like .
I see China is back on the calendar. I think they should have moved that to Taiwan as a snub to China. 24 is too many, quality not quantity. But that is not the way the world works anymore. Not sure how F1 is changing its image re the environment. All that travel, fans and teams. There are race tracks and then there are race tracks. Silverstone always delivers. Some don't.
