No rumours? I saw we are in talks with a goalkeeper at Fulham. Hammer mentioned and Forest news site saying we’re interested in Sam Surrige.

 

Oh, and no transfer window is complete without a link to an ex-player, Phil Hay saying that we are “pondering” a bid for Charlie Taylor.

Apparently Max Wober has told Farke he wishes to stay at the club, I hope that’s true.

 

Would like to see Drameh, Cresswell, Wober and Taylor as a back 4 with Ayling, Dallas and Cooper on the bench

Ryan Manning is said to be one of the signings lined up, I’d take Taylor though. I hope we’re in for Nat Phillips too. Cresswell/Wober/Phillips any two from three or we could use all three if need be. Wober would be my backup LB, just need Drameh, Adams and Sinisterra to agree to stay now

Farke is a fan of Dan James so I’m expecting him to feature, exciting days ahead

 

There is nothing behind the Charlie Taylor thing. It's just a rumour at this point. Apparently Burnley are trying to hijack Ryan Mannings move to Leeds as a free agent. The knock on of that would be Leeds then having to find another left back and Charlie Taylor would obviously be surplus to requirement at Burnley. It makes sense I suppose but Ryan Manning is our first choice left back at the moment.

 

Taylor didn't play left back for Burnley last season though.

 

Correct. He played centre back mostly (if selected!) but if we broke down his career appearances I think most people would agree that he can play left back fairly well at championship level.

Its now reported Wober has committed to Leeds for next season so that's another guy who can play centre back and left back. Wober played most of last seasons games at left back until he joined Leeds where he instantly became our best centre half. Throw in Cooper as a LCB and Cresswell and possibly Phillips as a RCB with Ayling and Dramah covering the RB spots and we look to have a much improved backlone with plenty of options. Throw in Hjelde who can also play LB and CB and we should be good to go.

Loads of goalkeepers who can replace the sub standard Meslier out there.

 

Didn’t realise Ryan Manning was the chosen LB for last season’s Sky Sports championship team of the year

 

I’m hoping that if we have players waiting in the wings for when the EFL ratify the takeover we’ve got them to sign pre-contract agreements.

 

Linked heavily with Burnley which could in turn see charlie taylor come home. I'd be happy with both, we haven't had a proper left back in ages.

Manning first choice obviously but as a free agent if a prem club wants him they will get him
