Quite likely...he appears on that Russian TV station a lot so may have too much Russian sourced income to get past a new PEP check

I read somewhere the other day that his last appearance on RT was in 2017.
    Would that still be relevant?

Not sure that's the case here, despite the other turmoil in the Party currently.
I read it that she's just had enough of the toxic atmosphere in the HoC and in particular the subsequent failure to influence anything.

She's torn the Tory Gov a new one on several occasions, but they have organised pile-ons towards her (Flynn & Nicholson too) and I'm guessing she will now focus on the political battles ahead North of the border.

    Hope so, anyway.

Funny how there was no mention of BBC Verify after the BBC mindlessly parroted Farage's version of events all day yesterday...

Wishy-Rishy getting served up his arse on a plate by Chris Bryant.
Sunak has developed this shallow, smug aura of confidence - but has no answers, so when challenged with facts is completely lost.
Wait to the end for 'la piece de resistance' question! <laugh>

This is not good for the BBC. If the claim is :

    1. untrue, then Farage can immediately show it,
and the BBC have published a lie.

    2. true, then if Farage can again show it,, and Coutts
potentially have a data protection breach (which
given this relates to banking, is a very serious matter) .

I suspect the BBC have gambled on #2, and Farages;'
pride (he would not admit it) .

Been quire amusing watching the low intelligence organisms
not seeing the immediate "law of unintended consequences"
    on this one.

If you are denied the means to do e-transactions of any
kind, then businesses are forced to accept cash.
When challenged on it, a person can merely state
that they have been denied e-transaction facility.

I also assume Farage will be withdrawing the money
from his soon to be closed accounts in cash (best hope
for the people involved that he doesn't have millions
    in them eh) . :)

"Surewy it makes sense to have it where it can be tracked."

    < chairman deedub >

Given these cases should be far in a Pareto "long tail" ,
then the state should open a national bank,
starting with current accounts only, thus making
e-transaction capability a "universal service obligation" (USO) .
As the state is not in the business of profit-driven
banking, the CAPEX/OPEX costs should be funded
by a USO tax on those UK banks providing
    current account services.

Fun fact: when I was limited to 600 tweets a day, that gave me the excuse to finally mute the prick

Marvellous moment. Just a pity that despite several open goals, the official Opposition failed to land any significant blows, including allowing Dowdens false data on housing and G7 growth rates to go unchallenged. <doh>

    1. It's true, at least according to Farage.
He claims that he hasn't had enough money invested for over a decade.
Coutts raised their requirements in 2011 IIRC and didn't immediately kick him out.

    2. The source may not be Coutts.
