and as happened previously the clubs would threaten to set up their own competition which would led to the formation of CL and has happened again with ESL and the new (dreadful) CL format .

Yeah Jones I think has started every game except the dead-rubbwr third group game and I think has played 90 minutes every time until today. No idea how well he's played but it seems like the manager has faith in him.
